Main Calendar Overview

This document describes the "Main Calendar" feature, a visual timeline for managing property bookings and Apartments assignments.

Key Features

• Date Range Navigation:
  • Displays the currently viewed date range at the top right.
  • Allows users to understand the period covered by the calendar view.
• Daily Timeline Header:
  • Provides a chronological header with the day of the week and date for each column.
  • The current or selected date is highlighted for easy identification.
• Room/Unit List:
  • Lists all available rooms or property units on the left-hand side.
• Booking Timeline Bars (Gantt-style):
  • Horizontal colored bars across the calendar grid represent individual bookings or reservations.
  • Guest Names: The name of the guest associated with each booking is displayed within or alongside the bar.
  • Booking Status Indicators:
    • Different bar colors correspond to various booking statuses, as defined in the legend.
    • Small icons next to guest names might indicate specific booking details or guest information.

How to Use

1. Navigate Dates: Use the date range selector to adjust the period you wish to view on the calendar.
2. View Room Occupancy: Quickly see which rooms are occupied and for what duration by observing the timeline bars next to each room name.
3. Identify Guests & Bookings: The guest names within the bars allow for immediate identification of who is staying in which room.
4. Understand Booking Status: Refer to the legend to interpret the color of each booking bar, understanding its current status.
